Course Overview

This Simulation-Based Laparoscopic Surgery Training Program is designed to systematically build operative proficiency, clinical judgment, and technical confidence in minimally invasive general surgery.

Through structured simulation modules, participants gain mastery in core laparoscopic skills, advanced suturing, cholecystectomy techniques, diagnostic procedures, and complication management.

The program emphasizes realistic procedural scenarios, evidence-based surgical principles, and hands-on skill development using high-fidelity simulation platforms. Trainees are guided through progressive learning experiences that replicate real operative challenges, enabling safe practice, error recognition, and refined surgical performance without patient risk. This training prepares surgeons to independently perform laparoscopic procedures with improved precision, efficiency, and patient safety.

Learning Objectives
  • Develop stable camera navigation, precise instrument handling, and coordinated laparoscopic control
  • Build competency in laparoscopic suturing, knot-tying, and structured tissue management techniques
  • Strengthen advanced suturing skills for complex surgical applications and clinical relevance
  • Enhance diagnostic decision-making, safe cholecystectomy performance, and complication prevention strategies
Learning Methodology
  • High-fidelity simulation training using virtual platforms and box trainers
  • Step-wise supervised skill development with structured demonstrations
  • Scenario-based operative case simulations with guided learning
  • Performance benchmarking with feedback-focused assessment and skill reinforcement
Learning Outcomes
  • Perform laparoscopic procedures with improved precision, efficiency, and technical control
  • Execute suturing and knot-tying confidently in real operative environments
  • Safely conduct cholecystectomy and adhesiolysis while managing bleeding and tissue challenges

Demonstrate readiness for real-world surgery through competent complication handling and conversion planning
