Dr. Uthkal M. P. is an experienced dental academician and Oral Radiology specialist with significant contributions in dental education, research, and digital dentistry. He currently serves as the Vice Principal and Professor at Malabar Dental College & Research Centre, Kerala, where he plays a key role in academic leadership and training of dental professionals.
Dr. Uthkal has extensive experience in oral radiology, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, pain management, and diagnostic imaging. Alongside his academic career, he is associated with CBCT diagnostic centers and contributes to advancing digital dental imaging technologies.
He has actively participated in academic conferences and professional webinars, including sessions on digital dentistry and modern diagnostic technologies, contributing to the advancement of dental education and clinical practice.
Prof. Dr. Uthkal M.P. currently serves as the Vice Principal and Professor at Malabar Dental College & Research Centre, Edappal, Kerala, where he is actively involved in teaching, mentoring dental students, and advancing academic programs.
He is also associated with CBCT diagnostic services as a consultant radiology specialist and contributes to the expansion of advanced dental imaging services in India. Earlier in his career, he was involved in healthcare services supporting HIV-AIDS patient care through NGO-based medical initiatives.
